  • Don't control occupancy rate
  • May experience less flexibility for personal use stays

Self Management Cons:

  • You are responsible to set your nightly rates and all guest communications/guest service (can be time consuming)
  • You are responsible for repair and maintenance of your own property
  • You are responsible for sourcing out cleaning company, and various trades for maintenance/repairs
  • You are responsible for extra expenses for repairs and upgrades
